  DONT USE THIS GARAGE, unless you live within the distance you can push your vehicle back to it !! Their warranty is Return to base ONLY In short my Fiat Ducato motorhome (2.3 multijet - registered 2010) was delivered Engine Repair Centre, Hull on the back of a low loader in mid November 2016. It had suffered major engine damage caused by the auxiliary belt shredding and wrapping itself around the timing belt. Two weeks into the rebuild the mechanic (Chris) from Engine Repair Centre, Hull, called me to let me know he was having a terrible time removing the glow plugs and the quickest and best option for me was a reconditioned head, luckily they had one in stock! EXTRA £350 on the bill straight away. Checked the van a couple of days after Christmas and it wouldnt start, I thought it may be the battery so bought a new one. Still wouldnt start. Back to Engine Repair Centre, Hull! In fact four times back to Engine Repair Centre, Hull in the next 9 months or so with smoke issues, emulsified oil in the rocker box and finally over a 1000 mile trip around Northern France in September 2017 the engine drank 12 Ltrs of water. Guess what? The cylinder head Id been charged for was cracked. I delivered the van back to garage with two fault codes P403 and P638 (EGR and Throttle actuator) Another head was fitted. I drove the van back to Manchester in limp mode with the exact same fault codes. No way was I returning my van back to Engine Repair Centre, Hull. It later turns out that Chris the mechanic at Engine Repair Centre, Hull when replacing the Bosch injectors back into the cylinder head fitted copper washers! Apparently these particular injectors are self sealing and do not use copper washers!!!!!!!!!!
